Batman 1.17 - "True or False-Face" (1966)
The wily master of disguise, False-Face, steals The Mergenberg Crown by masquerading as the Queen's escort, and replaces it with a false one right under the watchful eyes of the police. Included with the paste crown is an obscure clue revealing to Batman and Robin that False-Face's next crime will be the hijacking of an armored car. They catch him red-handed at the Gotham City Bank, but he escapes in his Trick-Truck. The Dynamic Duo spirit False Face to an alley, where his flunkies give battle. The police arrive in time to apprehend the gang, but False-Face disguises himself as Police Chief O'Hara and escapes.

As the train barrels towards our heroes, Alfred hears a strange transmission on the radio that alerts him to the Dynamic Duo's peril. He contacts Batman who requests that Alfred throw the short-circuit lever of thhe Battransmitter, causing Batman's radio to blow up and melt the epoxy on his wrist. He uses his free hand to reach The Batlaser in his utility belt, which he uses to melt away the remaining epoxy and free himself and Robin just as the train passes through the station and by our heroes! Batman and Robin return to Gordon's office at Police HQ and deduce that False-Face will attempt a bank robbery in which real money will be replaced with his own fake bills, so that the only money that will be any good will be False-Face's ill-gotten gains. (After all, who would think of telling the real tender from the fake?)

But luckily for Boss, it's Sadie Hogg Day - the day that women run Hazzard in different positions - and he fixes it so that Daisy becomes the honorary county treasurer so that he can frame Daisy for embezzlement, so that the missing county funds will be Daisy's problem, not his.

A personal look at the shows under development at FOX for next season, ranking them in order of interest to myself (thus to Abaza TV's chances of picking them up).
Currently Abaza TV has no Fox shows on the schedule. That may change next year based on these developing shows listed in order of what most interests me.

The firm is invaded by reporters, who are investigating some of the partner's involvement with financial fraud. One of the accused partners jumps from the top of the building, even though Robyn did everything to keep him from doing so. She is shocked, and the new associates wonder if the scandal will affect their careers.

After he's goaded into beating up a man to collect on a debt for Shannon, Mike realizes that his friends are right that he's headed for trouble, and tells Shannon he's quitting. Shannon tries to entice him to stay by offering to call in a favor with the District Attorney and have the case which led to Mike's dismissal from the force thrown out. Although he's sorely tempted, Mike turns Shannon down. After Mike leaves, Marcellus appears and is greeted warmly by Shannon.

NBC 2011-2012 Show Development Update
A personal look at the shows under development at NBC for next season, ranking them in order of interest to myself (thus to Abaza TV's chances of picking them up).
Currently Abaza TV is running Chuck, 30 Rock, The Office, Harry's Law, Law & Order Los Angeles, and sometimes Law & Order SVU. We were also running The Cape but its unlikely this will continue regardless of the show's fate, and were running Chase, but that has been cancelled by NBC.
So what new show's in development are looking promising to Abaza TV? Remember, these shows are a long way from making it onto the NBC schedule, committments have not yet been made.
The Crossing (Drama)
period drama about a civil war soldier who crosses the country and settles into a complicated town where he is welcomed as its savior - whether he likes it or not. I love period pieces but hopefully there is a bit more action then the description makes it out to sound.
Ford County (Drama)
drama about the inhabitants of the mississippi region and their foibles. EP John Grisham. Fun with rednecks basically, hopefully its as funny as the short stories.
Young Turks (Drama)
drama about the personal and professional lives of a group of new yorkers in their 20s who find themselves in the high-powered worlds of finance, politics and media. Sounds intriguing, a heavy drama currently missing from NBC's line-up.
Wonder Woman (Drama)
drama about the dc comics icon, a vigilante crime fighter in l.a. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life. From David E Kelley.
Might be a bust (bad pun).
Join The Club (Sit-Com)
comedy about a disenchanted 30-year-old joins his step-grandfather's men's club and finds an unlikely group of friends where he least expected. Imagine that a sit-com which does not revolve around alternative lifestyles, mixed families, or chefs.
The Dark Tower (Drama)
Based on the Stephen King novels. Would be great Friday or Saturday night vieweing on the PVR.
Brave New World (Sit-Com) Ed Begley Jr.
comedy about the staff at a plymouth plantation-type living museum that have people reenact the way the pilgrims once went about their days. Ed Begley Jr is a nut, so hopefully he plays one.
Mars Direct (Drama)
drama about a mission to the red planet. a little vague on the details right now to say the least.
Sila (Drama)
drama depicting a complex web of crime, policework and politics in los angeles. If Young Turks doesnt work out this one could take its place for me.

Kelly winds up at the scene of the abusive husband's murder. "4B" has Kelly come and appear before the tenant's readiness group, later the edgy "4B" is shot on a subway platform trying to save an elderly woman.

Mike's efforts to help his friend Vanessa get her brother Teddy off the streets and off drugs puts all of them in danger after Teddy steals a dope dealer's $15,000 stash. When Mike strikes a bargain to spare their lives in exchange for paying the dealer the wholesale price of the drugs, he discovers that Teddy has stolen all of Vanessa's money, as well as the drugs provided by Marcellus to bust the dealer. Mike is forced to come to the painful realization that going to prison may be Teddy's only salvation.

Currently Abaza TV is running Chuck, 30 Rock, The Office, Harry's Law, Law & Order Los Angeles, and sometimes Law & Order SVU. We were also running The Cape but its unlikely this will continue regardless of the show's fate, and were running Chase, but that has been cancelled by NBC.
So what new show's in development are looking promising to Abaza TV? Remember, these shows are a long way from making it onto the NBC schedule, committments have not yet been made.
The Crossing (Drama)
period drama about a civil war soldier who crosses the country and settles into a complicated town where he is welcomed as its savior - whether he likes it or not. I love period pieces but hopefully there is a bit more action then the description makes it out to sound.
Ford County (Drama)
drama about the inhabitants of the mississippi region and their foibles. EP John Grisham. Fun with rednecks basically, hopefully its as funny as the short stories.
Young Turks (Drama)
drama about the personal and professional lives of a group of new yorkers in their 20s who find themselves in the high-powered worlds of finance, politics and media. Sounds intriguing, a heavy drama currently missing from NBC's line-up.
Wonder Woman (Drama)
drama about the dc comics icon, a vigilante crime fighter in l.a. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life. From David E Kelley.
Might be a bust (bad pun).
Join The Club (Sit-Com)
comedy about a disenchanted 30-year-old joins his step-grandfather's men's club and finds an unlikely group of friends where he least expected. Imagine that a sit-com which does not revolve around alternative lifestyles, mixed families, or chefs.
The Dark Tower (Drama)
Based on the Stephen King novels. Would be great Friday or Saturday night vieweing on the PVR.
Brave New World (Sit-Com) Ed Begley Jr.
comedy about the staff at a plymouth plantation-type living museum that have people reenact the way the pilgrims once went about their days. Ed Begley Jr is a nut, so hopefully he plays one.
Mars Direct (Drama)
drama about a mission to the red planet. a little vague on the details right now to say the least.
Sila (Drama)
drama depicting a complex web of crime, policework and politics in los angeles. If Young Turks doesnt work out this one could take its place for me.

Batman 1.15 - "The Joker Goes To School" (1966)
The Clown Prince Of Crime, The Joker, attempts to undermine student morale at Woodrow Roosevelt High School in order to recruit high school dropouts for his gang of Bad Pennies by rigging the school vending machines to give out silver dollars and negotiable stocks and bonds instead of milk. Alerted by Commissioner Gordon, Batman races out to the school. An immediate assembly is made by the school's student leaders: including Richard "Dick" Grayson, Pete, and Susie, the school's head cheerleader. Batman shows up to show slides of mug shots of The Joker, when suddenly, out of the blue, he pops up right in full view of everyone! The Batman attempts to arrest him for loitering on school grounds, but The Joker manages to get off on a mere technicality. Meanwhile, across Gotham City, a bar is held up by a gimmicked jukebox which when activated spouts a double-barrel shotgun; then two stocking-masked hoodlums, actually two of Joker's Bad Pennies, Nick and Two-Bits, rush in to rob the bar's receipts from the register!

Just as the deadly one-armed bandit spins 3 lemons, Gotham City suffers a massive blackout! The Joker and his gang beat a harried retreat, just as the cops arrive just in time to cut Batman and Robin out from the electric chairs before the power comes back on! After replaying the audiotape The Caped Crusader secretly made while in the van, The Dynamic Duo were able to make out Susie as one of the members of The Joker's criminal gang, much to Robin's shock. So Robin, in the guise of Dick Grayson, Undercover Agent, tries to trick Susie into leading him into The Bad Pennies and The Joker himself. Unfortunately, Bad Penny member Nick catches immediately on and sends Dick on his way....but not before tipping him off on an impending robbery at a local bar. The Dynamic Duo enter the bar, trigger the gimmicked jukebox which spouts a double-barrel shotgun, deflect its bullets with The Batshield, and use a Batbomb to destroy the crooked machine! They then realize that Susie is in danger and rush to her aid, just as The Joker, realizing that The Dynamic Duo is on to Susie, gives her some perfume, which he instructs her to use only after she has planted answers to some important Nationwide Pre-College Exam papers she stole inside one of the rigged machines, not telling her that the perfume has been poisoned!
