When they get down there they quickly discover the low budget movies are X-rated followed by a police raid and Fred, Lamont and Rollo are hauled off to jail.

All the detectives scramble to solve the case, when the mother, in a family on vacation, is murdered during a holdup. The husband has a hard time dealing with the reality of him not doing anything during the situation and Felton's indifference. When the suspects are found Howard is convinced that the youth who confesses to the murder didn't do it.

Gee informs the detectives that they must meet with a sensitivity consultant. Felton protects a friend who's going to help his terminally ill father commit suicide. Pembleton investigates a routine murder that escalates into a case of possible police brutality. Bolander has no intention of meeting with the consultant to the point where he takes a suspension without pay. Lewis investigates the death of the father of Felton's friend and discovers the truth and confronts Beau.

A girl who ran away from home gets involved in prostitution. She calls into Jack's show looking for help in leaving this life and her pimp behind. Soon Jack discovers that the pimp is involved in other illegal markets as well.

The college professor is charged with lewd conduct in the library. Ray finds a witness who could point to a new suspect in the Jessica Cole murder.

High Incident 1.05 - "Sometimes A Vague Notion" (1995)
Jim Marsh (David Keith) and Randy Willitz (Cole Hauser) pull over a man who has just rear-ended another car. After the man collapses, Anne Bonner (Lucinda Jenney), also responding to the call realizes that the man is diabetic and tries to feed him some sugar until the paramedics arrive. Terry (Matthew Beck) and Russell (Louis Mustillo) respond to a missing child report. The mother believes that the father took him, but Terry has a nagging feeling the little boy has crawled into a buried pipe at a construction site. After several minutes of digging up the pipe, they discover the little boy in the crowd that's building at the site. Marsh and Willitz try to persuade a battered woman to press charges against her husband. Marsh can't get the woman out of his mind and later keeps watch of her at her home. Richie (Julio Oscar Mechoso) is brought up on trumped up search and seizure charges. Leslie (Aunjanue Ellis) and Lenny (Matt Craven) witness a mother slapping her four-year-old daughter across the face repeatedly. They stop to question the mother and take her to the station for questioning.

Jonathan Garvey is tricked into believing that he is a good wrestler in order to scam the local residents of Walnut Grove, who stand to lose a lot of money on the rigged match. Mrs. Oleson is betting heavily too - with the church funds - for which she is treasurer. An aging former legend has to prove to Jonathan that he has been set up before all his friends lose their bets.

On Christmas Eve, Miss Beadle decides to surprise the schoolchildren by letting them go home early. This proves to be a grave mistake when the kids are trapped by a vicious blizzard outside, and none of them can find their way home. As Doc Baker turns the school into a makeshift hospital for frostbitten victims, the men must brave the extreme weather conditions and track down their loved ones.
