Barney decides to surprise Betty with a belated engagement ring, which he gives to Fred for safekeeping. But Wilma discovers the ring and assumes it is a gift for her. Not wanting to shatter her illusions, Fred decides to buy a second ring, but doesn't have the cash. He cons Barney into going several rounds with a boxing champ in order to win a $500 prize.

It's hurricane season and American Storm is dispatched to see how they can help, only to discover that the latest Hurricane is more then just a force of nature. Cobalt Jack is in charge as his ability to modify water comes to the forefront. We also get flashbacks of Jack's childhood and his near drowning experience, and meeting with the Lady of the Lake, that results in his super-powers.

Al has a ton of chores to do around the cave, so he asks Cousin Corky to help with some. Corky has to get to an art convention soon. In Al's mailbag, he finds a travel brochure about going to Hawaii. Al goes, without even telling Corky. Now, Corky has to fill in for Al, and miss the art convention.
