Bridget meets a potential new sponsor named Charlie at a local Narcotics Anonymous meeting, while Malcolm battles his demons when he is put in a situation that threatens his sobriety.

The friction between Dave and Lisa over Lisa's ex-boyfriend Stewart (Wallace Langham) comes to a head after the three of them go to dinner together. Bill and Catherine engage in escalating practical-joke warfare, egged on by double agent Joe.

Drew Carey Show 2.03 - "Break It Up, Break It Up" (1996)
Lisa moves in with Drew, bringing an assortment of pets that includes a toilet-trained cat. They begin to really get on each other's nerves, and Drew goes to great lengths to avoid going home at night. Jay tells Drew that he is considering an offer to run a Dairy Queen in Minnesota with his brother. Kate comes to believe that Jay is going to propose, and realizes that she must reject him. She is bewildered when Jay simply tells her that he is moving and does not even ask her to come with him. Drew tries to console the furious Kate. He drives around with her all night and eats french fries. He finally goes home to find a note from Lisa saying that she has realized that Drew is uncomfortable and has gone to stay with a friend. He dances around to celebrate the fact that he is alone, unaware that Lisa hasn't left yet. She confesses that she is also unhappy, and they have an amicable break-up. She lets him keep her handicapped dog, Speedy. Drew drives Kate around as she breaks the windows of Jay and every other person who has ever committed wrong against her.

Russert's old partner joins the homicide unit, but she suspects that he is taking his work frustrations out on his wife. Pembleton struggles with his pride and domestic life as Gee and Bayliss try to convince him to return. Munch is partnered with Lewis and on the way to the crime scene gets the ride of his life. Bayliss tangles with a reporter. Beau is in Philadelphia with his kids. The bar has its grand opening.

Amma's best friend comes to visit, and Amma feels left out whenever she's around.

Flo gets tonsillitis and can't talk, and Earl discovers her age through her birth certificate. He figures he's got her where he wants her, until Flo shows him how an old pro plays that game.

While the boys go on a research for their father's case chasing after a couple of criminals, they encounter a UFO which leads them into a mystery involving a missing Russian scientist, some Russian agents, and a mysterious house.

Word of Ricky and Ron planning to leave the show along with the writing staff causes trouble at Studio 60. Meanwhile, Harriet considers doing a sexy lingerie spread in a magazine and Jordan and Danny wrestle with pending budget cuts.

The murder of a popular sideshow performer sends the team behind the scenes at a carnival freak show.

The internationally famous Worldwide Studios (really MGM) has hit hard times and is forced to sell it's back lot to Hollywood property developers. The trouble is someone keeps killing off the site surveyors. The studio chiefs then learn of the legend of a masked man who lives on the lot and is sworn to protect it from harm.
