The Beach Boy arrives in Los Angeles from Hawaii, picks up his luggage and heads for his car. The next day, he arrives at Eddy Marks' house and promply machine guns him down in his kitchen. Eddy's girlfriend, relaxing in the jacuzzi, hides but sees the killer.

Some people are being killed and just before they are killed they get a phone call from someone who utters the word "guilty". Hunter and McCall investigate and learn that the people who were killed served on a jury wherein the defendant was found guilty. Hunter and McCall trace the man and bring him in but they are told he can't speak because he was stabbed in the throat while in prison. They think he can speak but is keeping it a secret,problem is how to prove it.

Accompanied by a deputy district attorney, the woman boards a train travelling through a remote part of Canada. The Mafia know him but they have never seen her.

A few days proves to be too long as Coach Taylor begins to feel a bit jealous.

Refugee Jackson Leary, who assumed the pseudonym Jackson Cooper, is a serial rapist and multiple killer. This time he seduced naive teenager Carina Matthews, who is eager to flee home to California with Jackson, doesn't realize he killed her father Alan and catches on only very slowly that he commits robberies and violence all the time. Once wounded, Jackson heads for his adult ex, the mother of his pre-teen son, before heading for the Mexican border to escape US jurisdiction. Luke meanwhile is surprised that colleague Daisy makes no presumptions after their hot night.

Seasoned Canadian bank-robber Karen Nelson kept re-offending on the way to Texas, recently aided by naive Yankee Ivy Collins, who is equally eager to abuse female charms. To catch them, the team works out the psychological dynamic and their MO: seeking refuge in women's shelters and robbing relatively inconspicuous bank branches. Ivy gets caught and is confronted with Karen's disloyal manipulation.

The band is set to audition for a spot on Twist Fever when a woman tells them the show is looking for a band with a gimmick. When a family band is up next, the woman says that they are the type of gimmick the show is looking for. Joanie and Chachi claim that they are a family band with Louisa as their mother and visiting Fonzie as their father. Meanwhile, Al is upset with himself for not making more of an effort at being a true father to Chachi.more
