"The Sports Pages" consists of two completely separate mini-movies in tandem. The first is a droll tale with Newhart on a courtroom witness stand explaining to a jury how he justifies killing an old friend and golfing companion (Grammer) by whacking him over the head with a club. Part two is a raucous tale about the "facts" behind the "Heidi Bowl".

As luck would have it, our two young men are presented with an opportunity, they develop a club of young men devoted to the older woman, the "Cougar" if you will. It is this club that ultimately guides our two heroes into young adulthood.

Max Headroom 1.06 - "The Blanks" (1987)
In this episode we find out that Simon Peller has won another term for the public telection system. The satellite signals suddenly go haywire, interrupting broadcasts on all the networks. Television is not the only area affected. Even the blank service television is not working. An ultimatum is issued: if Peller does not reverse his policy of imprisoning all blanks, unregistered citizens, the central computer system will be crashed. Bryce and Theora hatch a plan to find the hackers.

In this episode the Hackers are disrupting network transmissions by hacking into satellite transmissions with their own high-power signals. Cheviot assigns Bryce the task of tracking down the pirates. Bryce discovers the source of the signal at the Academy of Computer Sciences. He does not want to expose his Alma master. Instead he says the source is at Blank Reg's Big Time Television. The Metrocops arrest Blank Reg. Dominique pleads with Edison to help clear her husband's name.

Beggars and Choosers 1.04 - "The Hat Trick" (1999)
Rob & Cecile continue to discuss the notion of having another baby. Honey Yang, the producer of LGT's tabloid news series, has heard that E.L. was with a hooker the night of he fell into a coma and is digging for more dirt. Rob brushes off the rumor, but later corners Malcolm for more details. Malcolm reveals that the hooker was actually his friend Larry, a transvestite who goes by the drag name Lola. The LAPD and FBI continue to believe that Rob engineered Kendall Gifford's disappearance to gain bigger ratings for The Mountainmen. A Gloria Allred-like lawyer takes on Sandra Cassandra's sexual harassment case against Malcolm and LGT. In a meeting about settling or continuing to fight the charges, L.L. and Rob make a wager: if, when E.L. emerges from his coma, he decides to settle the case, Rob will resign, but if he decides to fight on, LGT will put their full legal muscle to fight the charges. Lori keeps pursuing the Nicky Krasnakov miniseries idea, making promises along the way that she knows she can't keep. Rob lunches with Bea Arthur, who pitches the idea of a TV movie about Ethel Merman, with herself in the lead role. Parker Meridien uses information he got from his girlfriend, Audrey (Rob's daughter), to make fun of Rob on his show Parker's Pals.

Chuck Bartowski is an average computer geek until files upon files of government secrets are downloaded into his brain. He is soon scouted by the CIA and NSA to act in place of their computer.
