The detectives go on the trail of a recently paroled rapist responsible for the murder of a prostitute during a raid at a men's club and are called to the scene where he was shot in self defense by his own gun. However, the murder weapon was also used in another crime while he was still in prison, leading the detectives to investigate the victim through a trail of previously unsolved cases, a spending spree and another victim.

Law & Order: SVU 4.03 - "Vulnerable" (2002)
When an elderly woman breaks into an apartment, the detectives discover she had been mistreated but have to investigate with no credible information from the victim because of Alzheimer's. They discover that she had been released from a nursing home to the custody of her financially scheming son who becomes the prime suspect. However, they go back to the nursing home to find a pair of suspects, including the director who details the dangers faced by both patients and staff with her own heroics precariously standing out.

Traders 2.04 - "Trudy Kelly" (1997)
Trudy Kelly, Canada's (fictional) answer to Martha Stewart arrives at Gardner/Ross with the desire to buyout her 'owners' Kathy asks Jack to help her get the new job on the floor, he refuses, but she gets the job anyway. Benny makes an error in trading, that costs him half a million. Kathy tells him she'll enter the chit as a sell by 'accident' and correct it later. It appears however that the Trudy Kelly / Kelly Styles image is owned entirely by the parent company (BullCom) and they have no interest in selling it. Adam rushes home after his wife's nurse injures her back lifting her out of the bed. This upsets his wife greatly. She asks Adam again to let her die, but Adam cannot let her do it. Trudy Kelly drops a bomb on her show when she announces to everyone that she will be wrestling control of her image from BullCom without telling anyone ahead of time.  Marty finds out about the bad trade, but Benny is able to unload the shares at only a slight loss. Adam agrees to be out of the house at the time his wife is to kill herself. The episode closes with him seated in the backseat of a limo.

Tour of Duty 3.10 - "World in Changes" (1989)
McKay decides he is personally going to get the sniper who has been taking out helicopters... but with Anderson and Goldman on the ground and him in the air, HE ends up the next target, crashing and killing his co-pilot. Johnson, with only 72 hours left, gets a bad case of "short timer's nerves". Meanwhile a crazy CIA operative -- Duke Fontaine -- takes several VC suspects up in a helicopter and starts throwing them out until one of them will talk. Anderson and the team are going to go out after a VC-recruiter and get permission for Johnson not to go but because Johnson has decided that he "must stick to the routine" he ends up going. Taylor and Johnson are captured by the VC and tortured by a sadistic Vietnamese man.

The MC of a family style tv quiz show is worried that the show might be rigged and asks the Simons to investigate, which they do by becoming contestants.

The trio are at a party on Pier 56 when one of the guests discovers that all of the boats in the harbour have been burgled.

Caitlin takes Julian out of the city, the first time he has left for seven years, to a cabin in the woods. The cabin is near to the town where Julian's family came from. Is this by design or just an accident? An old Brujah clan still survives there, a clan Julian nearly wiped out under orders from Archon. They want revenge on them both and mean to take advantage of the current situation to make sure they get it.
