When Chandler Smythe is murdered he doesn't go to his eternal rest. Instead he finds himself enlisted by a mysterious organisation (The Corps) to help wage the never-ending war of Good vs. Evil on Earth. Smythe's first mission, with his partner Henry, involves trying to free a condemned man who was convicted of killing a cop. A cop who is, not only still alive, but a Morlock. A Morlock is the epitome of evil on Earth and someone who tries to recruit humans to evil.

A woman is found raped and killed by her car. Benson and Tutuola try to figure out why there were drugs in the victim's trunk but then find that a similar rape was committed. This victim says that a police officer raped her after pulling her over for a supposed driving violation. The D.A. now has to zero in on the corrupt cop.

A man defends his store from an armed robbery that may have been a scare tactic for a shakedown.

Goldstein, Gomez, Hayward, and Reese all return for an "alumni" exhibition game, amid all the troubles the four have encountered in "real life" since graduating. Hayward is in college and receives a summer job offer at a law firm, but struggles with breaking free from his troubled past. Goldstein, after a year in the Marines, now believes he has the confidence to ask out a girl he admired while at Carver. Gomez is struggling to make ends meet as a car mechanic with a pregnant wife. And, finally, Reese is driving a cab and spends the day with a famous singer, who agrees to help him pursue his dream of becoming a singer.

Crockett attempts to help an old flame free herself from a racketeer, then is framed for taking bribes. Martin Castillo becomes the squad's new lieutenant.

Michael and KITT head to the quiet backwater town of White Rock for Michael to take a well deserved vacation and do a little rock climbing, but the trip isn't quite the quiet break expected when they find that the town is being terrorized by a rowdy motorcycle gang preparing to do battle with a rival club of bikers.

The drama around Susannah's stalker continues to effect her and Gardner Ross. Adam assigns Jack to an IPO deal for a record company, but Jack has doubts as the financial solvency of the company. Sally tries to track down Susannah's stalker by following the money trail through Millenia Construction. Susannah and Monica figure out that the stalker is connected to the Russian Mafia. Ayn tries to deal with a new client who has irrational behaviors surrounding his stock trading gambles.

Tour of Duty 2.15 - "Hard Stripe" (1989)
While out on patrol, the unit stumbles across CIA recruiter Jim Doyle. He has taken possession of a case of Russian-made sniper rifles, and claims that finding him there was an accident. It is obvious that Goldman and his men have been used by Doyle to provide himself with an escort out of the bush. They get ambushed on the way out. They get most of the rifles back, but Zeke and Myron wonder why they were ambushed by Montagnards, a group known for their loyalty to Americans. Goldman decides to investigate Doyle and enlists Alex's help. Doyle learns he is being investigated and leans on Zeke to get the lieutenant to stop. McKay tries to convince Goldman that he should take a non-combat job "for Alex's sake". Taylor is upset because a soldier named Smith gets his sergeant's stripes before Johnson gets them, and Taylor think race has something to do with it.

An apprentice witch seeks Rick and AJ's help when she is threatened, but the case gets tricky when events seem to be influenced by the supernatural.

Walking through Chinatown, Cody, Nick and Murray see a gang of masked men trying to kidnap a teenage boy away from his father, and intervene.

The Castlemans are pressuring KJCM to take a stand in the upcoming election, Jack is greeted by his supposed daughter, and his high school friend is murdered.

Michael's attempts to reopen the murder acquittal of a police officer may be thwarted by the Attorney General's office, despite his solid evidence and a teenaged witness who could blow the officer's alibi out of the water.
