When Al's former partner and good friend, Det. Jim Kelly, is gunned down and another officer shot outside the bowling alley where the Police Leagues were playing, the investigation soon reveals that Jim may have been a dirty cop. Al refuses to believe it and Carrie and the team support him and dig deeper into Jim's work. What they undercover suggests another scenario may have be in play.

Beth hopes that her new hat -- based on the one Donald wore in "Fat Albert" -- is a business opportunity that Don Green (George Hamilton) can't refuse. Jimmy gives Beth some negotiation tips, but Lisa finds that they don't work so well on Dave when she asks him for a raise. Bill's relationship with his new girlfriend is complicated by the fact that she thinks he's British.

Drew Carey Show 2.01 - "We'll Remember Always, Evaluation Day" (1996)
Drew and Lisa begin arguing on a regular basis. She gets jealous when he turns down a date with her so that he can go clothes shopping with Kate. The Winfred-Louder staff sucks up to Drew as he completes the annual performance evaluations. Mimi gets a hold of some of the evaluations, and is surprised that he made some critical remarks about Lisa. He tries to hide this from Lisa, but she discovers the truth and becomes furious. She feels that Drew was tougher on her so that people wouldn't accuse him of favoritism. He insists that he was honest about her performance, and says that he was just doing his job. Lisa feels that Drew always puts his job ahead of their relationship. Drew puts together a series of pranks to get revenge on Mimi for showing Lisa her evaluation. Lisa says that her supervisor allowed her to see the evaluation; Mimi had nothing to do with it. She pressures Drew to prove that she is important to him by blowing off work for the rest of the day. Mimi shows up with a cast on her foot and announces that her sister is in the hospital. Drew tries to disable all of the pranks, and feels so guilty that he agrees to work for Mimi for the rest of the day. Mimi admits that she scammed him, as her sister was just undergoing liposuction. Lisa decides to break up with Drew after he leaves her in the car all day. Drew asks Lisa to move in with him in a desperate attempt to save the relationship.

Homicide: Life on the Street 3.09 - "Every Mother's Son" (1995)
Pembleton and Bayliss investigate the shooting of a young boy. During the investigation, the mother of the victim meets the mother of the shooter in the aquarium. The shooter shows no remorse for the killing, although he shot the wrong kid. Munch, Bayliss and Lewis can't remodel the bar when they discover it's been classified a historical landmark. Then when they find out back taxes are due on the building, which shuts them down before they open. Beau finds out his kids are in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, so he goes to find them.

The firm defends Joey Heric, a colorful client on trial for the murder of his lover. Jimmy is tried on solicitation charges by a vengeful district attorney.
