Despite his protests, Lisa tells Drew that she is going to start seeing other people. She urges him to do the same. He asks out his hard-living barber, Sue. She takes him to a strip club (to meet her mother), and forces him to defend her honor to a pair of guys twice his size at the Warsaw. Worst of all, she takes a liking to Mimi and offers to do her hair. Drew fears that he will not survive much longer. Lisa calls and leaves a message saying that she has figured out a way for them to begin dating in public. Drew has to keep his last date with Sue, who is bungee-jumping from a water tower. He breaks the news that he wants to stop seeing her, and is relieved when she kisses him goodbye instead of killing him. Kate tells Drew that she has applied for a job as head of the personal shopper department. He promises to hire her. Just then, Lisa shows up and announces her plan. She wants him to hire her to head the personal shopper department so that they would both be management. Mimi also applies for the position and warns Drew that she has Bell's backing.

A young man comes into the squad room and after getting their attention, tells the detectives that his brother has been shot. Pembleton is sued by the multiple personality serial killer, who states he violated her civil rights during interrogation; he is discouraged when the city agrees to settle out of court. Munch must attend an alcohol awareness seminar to meet a requirement for the bar. Lewis experiences "love at first sight" with a woman from the State Attorney's office who makes models of crime scenes, (for both professional and artistic purposes) but she has "love at first sight" when she sees Bayliss and he sees her. Later, they attend an art exhibition and have an unusual sexual encounter in her "bed." All is not well at the Felton household, when he returns home to a cleaned out house.

Bobby pays attention to The Commonwealth V Ronald Martin, as he plans to represent Gerald Braun in a wrongful death suit against Martin. "Free Willy" returns, after being arrested in a peculiar position with a hooker. Defense Lawyers in the Emerson Ray case make a motion to have the case dismissed. Bobby fears that the judge is biased, and uses a controversial card to have the judge removed. Jimmy is fired for approving a construction loan under false pretenses. Bobby decides to hire Jimmy.

When the Hoopty conks out in outer space, it's towed to a planet run by women, where Ty and Morris discover they'll have to work off the repair bill in a strip club.

When Arnold finally shows up back at school, it's discovered that his absence was due to the recent death of his fifth father. Landry contemplates turning himself in after he goes in place of Tyra to meet her attacker's brother. Smash's first recruitment trip leaves him thinking twice about college.

Toby encourages the President to appoint Leo's controversial sister to a national education post, against Leo's objections; Bartlet must decide what the do with 83 Chinese citizens who stowed away on a freighter ship and seek asylum on the grounds of religious persecution; CJ has to decide which one of two turkeys the President should "pardon" but then tries to save the other from the chopping block; Charlie is tasked with buying the President a new carving knife which is not as easy as it sounds.
