Series Finale
San Francisco firefighters and paramedics rescue a man trapped on the rigging of a schooner. A paramedic convention brings Gage and DeSoto back to San Francisco, where they assist a choking victim in a restaurant, then deliver a baby while two female paramedics treat a sniper's shooting victims. While attending a picnic, SF firefighters and paramedics are called back to work for a mutual aid response in Marin County; Gage and DeSoto tag along and rescue the victims of a lab explosion.

With the recent discovery of the body of Kerry Lynn Palmer, Stabler has another chance at cracking the case. They can only hold Rickett for twenty-four hours, but are able to glean enough information during that time period to at least have a place to start. Cragen and Benson both worry that Stabler will let his hatred for the suspected child molester interfere with his ability to do his job.

Gary confronts Abby, who feigns innocence. He loses it and starts trashing the room and screams at her to get out of his life. Abby runs to Greg's, only to find him in bed with Laura. Abby tries to talk to Gary, but he tells her to contact him through his lawyer.
