They find her in a nunnery, and realize they aren't welcome and Leslie, now sister Teresa, is allegedly unknown because the nuns are in the grip of a criminal gang whose leader is recuperating hidden inside with some goons. Those are easily overpowered, but far from alone.

Hunter and McCall apprehend Gavin, a murdering street punk. They later learn that he made a deal with the D.A. to implicate a mobster, Nate Demarest for four murders. Hunter knows if Gavin is back on the streets he will kill again. When Demarest tries to get Gavin, Hunter suggests limiting the number of people who knows his location and Gavin wants Hunter to be that person because he knows if anything happens to him Hunter will be under suspicion. It's while watching Gavin that McCall recalls she once investigated Demarest for killing a Fed but it went cold.

Kathy asks Grant to hide some boxes for her, when he asks what they're for she concedes that Benny is moving in with her. In order to save the deal Jack must sell a 65 million dollar stake in the Jakarta Harbour deal to the Seoul Pacific Bank, a move that forces GR to sell them a seat on the board, and they loose their autonomy.

Team Viking takes off on another Fontaine mission, where they run into heavy contact. McKay arrives back at the LZ to rescue them, only to end up being fired on by missiles. He has no choice but to leave without Taylor, Ruiz and Private Woznaik. They attempt to make it back to their own lines on their own. The team goes back to check for their men -- McKay gets tricked by the VC and nearly killed -- only Taylor's self-sacrificing smoke grenade gets the chopper pilot back up in time. Wozniak ends up dead of a snake bite, leaving Ruiz and Taylor on their own. As the days pass, Taylor and Ruiz are replaced by two new soldiers, including 44-year-old PFC Thoams "Pop" Scarlett, a lifer with a unique perspective on the war.

An old flame (of before his ordination) comes back in his life and awakens some of the old yearnings. She is a stepmother to one of the students at the parish school and the boy is very troubled. Add on top of that someone has been recording his Confessions and his advice is not doctrine. Also in this pilot we meet the rest of the parish staff: the old traditional but sweetly irascible, Fr. Leo; the young inexperienced Fr. Eric who has yet to learn how to give a good homily; the very modern Sr. Maureen (Mo); the Jewish Atheist accountant Sydney; the young high school secretary Rachel.
