Father Brown draws the connection and tries to save a third witness from becoming the next victim.

Ex-con chauffeur Jim Magnus lurks around like bully debt collector Eddie Monk, who threatens witness father Brown, who invites him to the seal of confession and carries out an unbiased investigation, but gets overheard by inspector Sullivan.
