"Tribute to Lucky 7"
The first known pirate TV station in the USA was put on the air one weekend circa 1977 in Syracuse NY on channel 7. It was identified as "Lucky 7" and broadcast episodes of Star Trek and pornographic movies. The transmitter was reported to have been built using parts from a guitar amplifier. No mention of what was used to source the video and audio, but the VCR as a consumer product had just hit the market. Soon after, a short article about this station was published in the New York Times.

The top 6 spots in the eight man tournament were seeded King of the Mountain style based on their finish from last week's competition. This made the winner Tariq an overwhelming favorite to win, despite the fans' dislike for the big man from Gibraltar.
The round robin competition was played under the traditional Superfecta rules where winner keeps the court, losers take turns returning, and first player to score 9 points wins.

The final standings were as follows with their draw number preceding their name;

Notes; For the second week in a row Tariq won by holding the court against weaker opponents while fan favorite Reyes could only sit and watch and wait for a final turn which didn't come. The new faces Tit and Etienne faired well and will be back next week.
Next week's event JAX 3: CutThroat will be played under a different set of rules (Cutthroat). Instead of winner holding the court, the loser will have to stay on the court, and once a player has lost 3 points they are eliminated. Perhaps the new rules will change Reyes' luck!
