Army captain Sandrine Shaw, after seeing psychiatrist Xan Schofield for post traumatic stress counselling, makes a cryptic phone call which intrigues her bullying CO Dyson. Kip interviews Abdullah's sisters at an immigration detention centre along with racist MI5 agent Sam Spence. They give nothing away but Kip is sure they are hiding something.

Sandrine keeps quiet about her ordeal at Dyson's hands and visits Peter Westbourne, a travel agent and friend of her late soldier father before embarking on another mission whilst Jane gets a visit from her bishop regarding Linh.
