Sipowicz threatens to reveal some incriminating evidence about Haverill to get him to lay off Fancy, he later plays Santa Claus to underprivileged children. Kelly stops to visit his mother in her rest home. Martinez receives his new badge, making him a detective.

Gayle (Catherine Kellner) and Richie (Julio Oscar Mechoso) respond to a burglar alarm at a home, and find a suspicous man who claims he's taking care of the plants and looking after the house for his friends who are on vacation. The officer's catch the man swallowing something and arrest him. Later they recover two diamond rings which have worked their way through his system. Lenny (Matt Craven) and Leslie (Aunjanue Ellis) investigate a disturbing the peace complaint and find a seven-year-old boy bound and gagged in the attic and covered with burns. Julia, who is separated from her abusive husband, invites officer Marsh (David Keith) over for dinner. Julia's husband is leaving the apartment as Marsh arrives. Minutes later, Marsh finds Julia dead on her bed. Leslie finds out where the daughter she gave up for adoption lives and goes to see her unannounced.

In this special two-part episode, the BAU is called to investigate after a wealthy couple is murdered in their home following a Super Bowl party. The team pursues what they believe might be multiple killers who use webcams to record murders and upload the tapes on the internet. Hotchner, Morgan and Prentiss soon discover the unsub is actually one man with multiple personalities. As they close in on the killer, Reid faces a life-threatening situation.

The squad puts everything on hold to investigate the murder of Dawn Cofield, a college co-ed. The field of suspects is numerous including a drug runner, a professor and a classmate. At the top of the list is her boyfriend, Pup Clemmons, who just happens to be a rival of Stone's from his days in undercover work, but there's also a competitor of Pup who's on the list of suspects. Meanwhile, Sanchez is busy checking into Stone's junkie ex-girlfriend who keeps hanging around the station. To top it all off a tense standoff ends in violence and overwhelming upheaval.
