**Welcome to the Proving Grounds**
Hour #1
Chyna defeated Jessica Hatch by submission
**Jack Larkin set up this match, his disdain for Hatch still very apparent. Chyna looked overwhelming in this match.
**Jack Larkin also sets up a Lumberjack match for next week between Jody Christmas and Collin Green a rematch for the vacant APW Heavyweight title. The Lumberjacks are to try and prevent Uriah and Darren Micaels from interfering. Larkin also announces that a new APW title belt will be ready to present to the winner next week.
Gregor Wynn & Ivan defeated Moses Luke, Steve Corino & Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall in a handi-cap match when Wynn pinned Luke after DiCaprio turned on his teamates
**Wynn announces DiCaprio has joined Wynn International (himself, Ivan, Katrina, Svetlana, and now DiCaprio) and together they will take WI to the top of American Pro Wrestling. DiCaprio says he has the look of a champion and thats what really matters in pro wrestling, not like the slob Moses Luke and the old mass of scar tissue Corino. He tells Corino that the day he refused to train DiCaprio was the biggest mistake of his career, its the day he became obsolete.
APW Women's Title - Nikki Crawford defeated Amy Bates by pinfall
[Nikki Crawford retains the APW Title]
**the crazy housewife Crawford was at the top of her gain and used her strength to pull off a decisive victory. However, after the match she was overpowered and stomped by Chyna who came into the ring and attacked her head on.
**Rain was interviewed, as the new #1 contender for the women's title, but she seems just as concerned with Chyna as she does with Crawford.
Hour #2
**Larkin announces that there has been a change in tonight's main event APW tag title bout. Raymond Bingham and Rulon Gardner have no-showed so he is offering the title shot tonight to the SSA Strong Side Assassions (Ricky Foley & Thaddeus Coleman). Jessica Hatch comes out and smelling weakness makes Larkin agree to stop harassing her like making matches with Chyna if she agrees to have her men take the shot. Larkin reluctantly agrees, and also notes that because of the change there is no need to make it a steel cage match (this draws loud jeers from the crowd). Also although Jody Christmas will be competing next week for the APW title he still must defend his TV title on a regular basis. Larkin has set a match tonight for Christmas to take on....Wes Shivers...the man who has been on an absolute rampage as of late. This draws Christmas and Darren Michaels to the ring. Christmas is just about ready to forfeit the title when Michaels comes up with a solution. He tells Larkin to make it fair that if Christmas has to wrestle tonight then to even it out for next week, Collin Green should also have to wrestle tonight..against himself, Dangerous Darren Michaels. Larkin readily agrees.
TV Title Match: Jody Christmas defeated Wes Shivers by disqualification for abuse of official
[Jody Christmas retained the APW TV title]
**Wes Shivers dominated large portions of this match, and looked like he could become the champ if it were not for his uncontrollable temper. When Christmas refused to submit to a camel clutch Shivers got so upset he went over to the timekeeper and assaulted him for not ringing the bell. This got him disqualified. Shivers continued to beat on Christmas after the match until Michaels finally came to the resuce, saying he was delayed because he was preparing for his own match.
Collin Green defeated Dangerous Darren Michaels by countout
**Michaels looked anything but dangerous in this bout. While he controlled most of the bout he did it with restholds like a side headlock and body scissors. Not the crazy man we have seen in the past. Finally when Green tossed him out of the ring Michaels appeared to come up lame on his ankle and couldn't beat the 10 count back into the ring.
Main Event - APW Tag Team Title Match
Asp Evergreen & Eddie Chavez (/w Chyna) defeated the SSA: Ricky Foley & Thaddeus Coleman (/w Jessica Hatch) by pinfall when Evergreen pinned Foley
[Evergreen & Chavez retained the APW Tag Team Titles]
**Chyna was actually helpful in this match, taking out Hatch after she had interfered on behalf of her team. The match was pretty even with the SSA showing their size and strength advantage, but E&C had some fluid tags and double teams. In the end their quickness and a double team dropkick and then slingshot suplex got the win.
